FKL/ELE/N/07/SRO/NCTE/2004-05/4565 dated 05-07-04 (malayalam medium) and FKL/ELE/N/07/SRO/NCTE/2004-05/6526 dated 24-08-2004.One more Malayalam Medium D El Ed batch is sanctioned from 2020-2021.

The campus is situated just 2 km from the nearby town Thodupuzha, located at Perumpillichira, a serene village in the Pachayath of Kumaramangalam, Idukki District, Kerala State. Major towns of Idukki, Kottayam, and Ernakulam districts are within easy reach.

Noorul Islam Trust (NIT) was founded in 1998 with a sublime vision of imparting excellence in education, keeping in mind the backward and minority communities in and around Idukki District. Under the efficient guidance of Haji K.M. Moosa, Chairman, Noorul Islam Trust and Al-Azhar Group of Institutions, Adv. K M Mijas, Managing Director, Dr. K M Paijas, Director Al Azhar Group of Institutions. The Trust is heading forward as a group of ardent visionaries with profound experience in the field of education.
