D.El.Ed (Diploma in
Elementary Education)

Malayalam medium

Since its inception in 2006, the institute has been successfully imparting teacher training for aspiring students from all over the state. The program is recognized by Govt. of Kerala and approved by NCTE. Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ei.Ed) serves the purpose to prepare teachers for primary level teaching, i.e., from classes I-VIII. The program is designed for teachers who are willing to gradually improve their skills and connect subjects with the students making them understand its social impact.

Observation -5 working days in 2 Semesters. LP 5 days (I Sem), UP 5 days (II Sem)
Practice Teaching of 45 working days in 2 Semesters. LP 45 days (III Sem), UP 45 days(IV Sem).

Evaluation

The attainment of student teachers on theory papers are evaluated comprehensively and continuously throughout the course and the final examination is being conducted by the Board of Public Examinations, Kerala State. The practical works are evaluated by the commission of examiners appointed by the same authority. The minimum grade for qualifying the D El Ed exam is C+ (50% marks).
