Rules & Regulations
The following are the rules and regulations created to ensure the smooth functioning of the college campus. Kindly follow the same to have a peaceful campus ambiance.
General Rules
- Admissions to the institution are governed by the rules and regulations issued from time to time by Govt. of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
- Identity card will be issued to students on enrolment. Students are expected to carry their identity cards when in college premises.
- A student applying for Transfer Certificate shall clear all the dues including fees. Application for Transfer Certificate is given at the end of the academic year. it should be duly filled and submitted at the office.
Code of Conduct
- All students should assemble in the auditorium at 9.30 a.m. to take part in the general assembly.
- Participation of the student in all co-curricular activities in the institute is compulsory.
- Students shall maintain the discipline of the institute.
- Students are expected to keep the campus premises neat and tidy.
- Students are advised to pay attention to the notifications appearing in the notice board from time to time.
- All students should wear uniforms on prescribed days.
- While a class is in progress no student shall enter or leave the class without the permission of the teacher.
- Students are not allowed to organize or conduct meetings in the college or collect money for any purpose without the formal permission of the principal.
- Irregular attendance, in subordination to teachers, habitual absence from class work, obscenity in word or act and such other acts may lead to suspension

- The principal is empowered with the authority to take appropriate disciplinary measures if need be against any student found guilty of serious misconduct or flouting the norms and regulations of the institution, and the same will be intimated to the concerned parents in due course of time.
Tests and Examinations
- Monthly test papers will be conducted in all subjects. Terminal examination will be conducted at the end of each terms
- All students should write the terminal examinations and model examinations.
- The performance in the examination will be counted for internal assessment.
Library
- The library has a comprehensive collection of books and journals on various subjects
- All students will be issued library cards at the time of joining and it should be brought for taking books.
- The library shall remain open from 9.30 am to 4.30 p.m. on all working days.
- The students will be permitted to take a maximum of two books at a time.
- They should not be retained for more than 10 days.
- A fine of Rs. 1/- will be levied per book per day for delay in return of books.
- Reference books cannot be borrowed in any case.
- Every student is expected to use the library to the maximum.
Working Days and Class Hours
The college works under the full day system with two sessions. Regular working time for the students comprises a morning session of three periods and afternoon session of two periods. The morning session is from 9.30 am to 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon session is from 1.30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a noon interval of 1 hour.
